Your Will is a priority and must include the Guardianship provision, this allows you to nominate who will look after your children should the worst happen.
You should consider an Enhanced Will that provides protection for your assets for those you wish to inherit, especially if it is the children because the Enhanced Will uses a Trust to keep your assets secure until they are of age to inherit.
